Steven Tyler

Steven TylerUnder the guidance under the direction of Frank Connelly, their first manager, they took a few time on Boston's clubs circuit. They then began working with Steve Leber (New York) and David Krebs (New York). Their debut album, titled "Eponymous" was released in the year 1973. They signed a recording deal in the year 1972. The album was immediately followed by Get Your Wings and Toys in the Attic and Rocks. This brought Aerosmith global fame and recognition. These albums were awash with iconic hits such as "Dream on", Walk This Way, "Sweet Emotion" and "Walk This Way". Aerosmith's first five albums were all multi-platinum. Toys in the Attic and Rocks are regarded as among the top albums of hard rock ever. The band began to feel the consequences of their fast-paced lifestyle of recording, touring as well as living together, and also using substances as the decade went on. Because of their famed use of stimulants and heroin, Tyler and Perry were identified as the Toxic Twins. Their relationship is documented in numerous Aerosmith's video recordings as well as in the Aerosmith Behind the Music. Tyler was more devoted to Aerosmith than Perry and had a resentment of Perry for his indifferent attitude. Perry was also jealous of his importance to women throughout his life. Aerosmith was in decline around 1980 due to tensions between Perry and Tyler.
