Amanda Elizabeth Righetti (born Amanda Elizabeth Righetti) is an American actor and producer. Her fame was due to her role as Special Agent Grace Van Pelt in CBS police procedural drama series The Mentalist. Righetti is from Utah who was always interested in performing. She started dancing when she was just four years old. In 1995, she made her big screen debut with the film Love and Happiness. For her debut appearance on television she appeared as a participant in CBS CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Righetti was just 14 years old as she first began her professional career. Righetti began her modeling career at age 14. The model moved to Los Angeles four years later and played a few minor, but significant roles. Righetti was also cast in a variety of other films, including the horror movie Friday the 13th in 2009. The film about superheroes Captain America : The First Avenger Fox's soap opera North Shore as well as in Reunion.
