Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko competes as an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter in the UFC's flyweight division. She is older than her fellow UFC fighter and Former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko started her journey into fighting sports by becoming an Muay Thai Kickboxer. Shevchenko defeated Jaimelene Nievera during Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11 Antonina TKO'd Nievera with her striking skills that were superior in the final clinch by using knees on the body. Antonina was offered the UFC invitation following her win. Antonina was able to make her UFC debut at the TUF Heavy Hhitters Finale, in a fight against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko beat Roxanne Modafferi in a split-decision fight after winning the first fight via unanimous decision. Antonina rebounded from her loss to knock out Lucie Pudilova by choking her back in a rear-naked submission in the second round at UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned an extra fight in the night for this fight. Shevchenko was victorious in her initial three bouts, but lost the fights to Katlyn Cahookagian Andrea Lee and Ariane Lipski. Recently Antonina fell to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
